David Potts, OAM, JERAA Life Member

David Potts was instrumental in founding the association, and one of the three founding organisers of the WJEC which was launched in Singapore in 2007.  It was his idea to invite  13 journalism educators to meet at Mitchell College of Advanced Education in the New South Wales regional city of Bathurst in 1975 to created the Australian Association for Tertiary Education in Journalism (AATEJ).
